Goodwill is going to run their retail stores out of business
At least here in Northern California, Goodwill is well on their way to putting their retail stores out of business. Between ever escalating prices in conjunction with presorting all the "Good Stuff" out, they are quickly becoming irrelevant. All my local stores are now pretty much only selling junk and low end merchandise. Clothing is 99% fast fashion (think Walmart, Target, H&M). In recent weeks customers have been dwindling as well. Today I went at 4:00 pm and it was a ghost town. The quality of the clientele is also suffering. I think they are diverting too much of the better items to their online sales, leaving their stores devoid of what most come to shop for. I can buy a cheapo shirt in tens of stores at their used clothing prices. Your thoughts....
