Glitchy glitch
I've noticed this now for about a few months I think.
Is it just my account or do you guys notice that immediately after you issue a refund to a buyer thru the Returns page, that specific return line item in that page changes it's status to "Return delivered. Issue refund by: (today's date)"?
I wonder why it does that. Every time. Doesn't matter if I'm just refunding a buyer and letting them keep the item, the package hasn't even gotten scanned in as delivered yet, or the package is delivered and my correct Issue refund date is two days from now. It always changes to this exact status once I issue the refund and it stays like that for awhile before being correctly "indexed."

OP2 years agoSure I can do that once I get a returned item at my door so my time window to refund starts and I can recreate the glitch. Should take a few days as I have a few in transit back to me.

OP2 years agoOkay here we go. I got an item returned back yesterday that says for me to refund by tomorrow, 3/6 (2 day refund window) shown here. Refer only to the Return in the middle.
I just refunded that buyer a less than full refund because it had pet and human hair and smelled like perfume and pet odor. So now the return doesn't show up as refunded yet like it used to, but rather it shows "return delivered, Issue refund by: 3/7" (2 day refund window starting today).
In the past it the glitch used to show "Issue refund by 3/5" (today), but I don't know when the glitch changed to do 2 days later instead of same day. It doesn't matter if you do a full refund or a less than full. If full refund, ideally the item would just drop off and remove itself from the open returns page. But it doesn't. The glitch would rather still show the same status "return delivered, Issue refund by: 3/7" and remain in the open returns page for awhile before finally removing itself and updating correctly to a closed status.
As said, it isn't a huge problem which is why I haven't mentioned it until months later. But I'm just curious now if anyone else experiences this.
