I always encourage new sellers to do their homework BEFORE starting to list on Ebay. It is a JOB and should be treated as such. For the very basics, you should be reading the User Agreement you agreed to so that you could start selling on this site. As well as policy pages on HOW TO list an item as well as the policy pages on how your money is processed. These are just the basics. Lots more to learn, but you really should do your homework BEFORE listing your first item.
Here are some situations where transaction holds could be applied to a seller's funds and when those funds would typically be released.
A brand-new private seller
New private sellers will typically receive their funds within 2 days after delivery confirmation (for items sent with an ebay label), 7 days after delivery confirmation (for items sent with a third-party label), or 31 days after the buyer pays (for items sent without tracking) while they build a consistent track record. Once they've qualified to receive their funds faster, they'll typically receive their funds within 2 days of the buyer’s payment.
If eBay says the funds were sent to your bank, then it will generally take 3 days for the ACH transaction to settle. My payouts happen on Monday night/Tuesday morning, and the transactions generally settle to my bank by Thursday afternoon.
Congratulations on your first sale! Here's to many more!
New sellers have their funds held for about 30 days before being released to them. This will lessen as you become more experienced. eBay has to know that new sellers are trustworthy and that nothing will happen with the transaction to leave them holding the bag.
If you are not familiar with eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers, you might want to read about it. You can say "no returns" on your items but on eBay, that does not mean "no refunds". If a buyer claims an item is "not as described", a seller has to accept the return, pay for a return label and refund after the item is returned, or just refund without the return of the item. I looked at your listings and see you have a couple of car parts listed. Policies are different for car parts; you might want to read about those policies too.
Well, it says the funds are available and they were sent to my bank. If what you're saying is true then that my last sale.I'm not gonna wait 30 days to be paid. Thank you and have a great day
You're threatening to throw in the towel after only your first sale? Wow!
The policy is for every new and infrequent seller, not just you. Additionally, it is obvious that you haven't read enough of eBay's rules of selling on eBay, and just jumped in blindly at least on the payment topic.
If you change your mind and decide to stay, READ the rules of eBay's sandbox before you get in a huff and throw more sand around.
You've been given the explanation of new funds holds for new and infrequent sellers. If you are already going to bolt at such a policy that all sellers have temporarily gone thru, then perhaps selling here is not for you.
Good luck, if you're actually going to quit on such a knee-jerk reaction that is totally unnecessary when patience and acceptance are the answer.
Sorry you feel that way. What you are going through happens to all new sellers. eBay is a huge selling venue with millions and millions of buyers and sellers buying and selling billions of items every day, so eBay has rules and policies that apply to everyone.
If you are ready to give up because you didn't bother to find out about what selling on eBay involves, then you are probably right: eBay isn't for you.
Payment holds can be held up to 30 days for new sellers or infrequent sellers. Most of the time it is released well before that. Don't worry the funds will be released to your bank account eventually. eBay tends to hold these funds to make sure everything truly is ok with your shipment, i.e. tracked delivery and no returns.
Once you sell more frequently the holds are only a day or two while things are processing.

When funds will be available
You can see when your funds will be released in Seller Hub or My eBay. However, your funds may be unavailable for longer if we have concerns about the order.

·3 weeks ago · EditedGenerally speaking, getting paid requires:
The funds to be 'available' on eBay
A bank account to be correctly set up on eBay
A scheduled payout to have happened
The ACH system to settle the bank transfer
If eBay says the funds were sent to your bank, then it will generally take 3 days for the ACH transaction to settle. My payouts happen on Monday night/Tuesday morning, and the transactions generally settle to my bank by Thursday afternoon.

·3 weeks ago · Edited@daver721 It can take up to 48 hours (more often 24 hours) for a payment transfer from ebay to your bank to actually appear in your bank account.
