Free support when you need it
Got a message from ebay about free seller support.
"Seller Clinics provide eligible business sellers with easy access to expert advice tailored to your specific needs."
I bet that this is nothing more than a promoted listings sales pitch,

It is a FREE one on one consultation that may just enable you to learn something new. I'm sure that during this 45 minute meeting, if you are dissatisfied with what he or she is presenting to you, you can excuse yourself.

·1 week ago · EditedNOPE it is a real thing and Ebay has been offering it for quite a while now. There is so much more to Ebay than just Promoted Listings. Maybe if you attended one with an open mind, it may just help you in some way.
Oh, but one thing. It is NOT "support". This isn't program to work out account specific issues but a program for possibly learning things about selling that you weren't aware of.

·1 week ago · EditedAgreed that they probably do have a big push in script on increasing your promoted rates or participating in it at all. From what I understand, though you can Taylor or target certain areas – like optimizing your store set up or listing best practices.
When I could have benefited from it and when I would have interested, I didn’t qualify – you have to be a business and you have to be under $100,000 of sales in the 12 month period preceding the clinic. Seems like odd requirements – I don’t know why they would want to not help someone above 100,000 get 250,000 or 200,000 or 300,000 and regardless of whether or not that seller is registered as a business.

·1 week ago · EditedIt says "advice", not "support". Advice: (n) a recommendation regarding a decision or a course of conduct
