Forum website bugs
Is it true that the moderators take care of and remediate any forum website bugs? This was floated by someone in another thread, but it seems odd. But, maybe that is why the DM fix is taking a long time.

Hey @powell-collectibles ! When it comes to bugs within the Forum, myself @elizabeth@ebay and@kyle@ebay work with the Bevy team to resolve any issues that may be occurring.

·1 month ago@grann-4629 Not a bug but a programming enhancement that needed to be made to block such emails. IDK if there is such a thing as "scam detection software". Maybe there is. IDK, but in the old system they did have blocks in place that prevented this from happening on the scale that it was happening in the new system. We occasionally got scam emails in the old system, or at least I did, so the old system wasn't perfect either.
However in the new system, way too many members where getting these bad emails that could potentially financially harm members. Ebay and the team did the right thing to shut down DMs so that more people were not harmed, while they worked on a fix for the problem.
