Form 1099-K to sellers who receive $600 or more in gross payouts
With the recent announcement that IRS holding off on requiring Form 1099 to sellers over $600, is eBay still sending forms to sellers over $600? If not, I would like to start selling again in stead of waiting to 2024.

·2 years agoNo, the IRS is not requiring 1099 unless you've sold 20,000 & have 200 sales.........however, many states are requiring 1099's for less..........so better check on your state............

·2 years agoIMHO the $600 limit should not have any bearing on your ability to sell in 2023.
Regardless of what the threshold for eBay to send 1099, you should still be declaring your eBay income on your taxes. It doesn’t always mean you will owe taxes. You should also find out what the threshold is in your state.

·2 years agoIt seems many sellers just don't get this part or don't care. I can't even respond anymore to these posters, but they do have a cute dog.
