Just don't buy anything from foreign sellers where counterfeiting can be an issue, i.e. coins, watches, sports memorabilia, etc. In fact, don't buy anything from foreign sellers at all, if it's something you're wary of.

American sellers are much more likely to sell authentic items then the notorious Chinese or other foreign countries. Ebay, by being super strict with Americam sellers hurts both buyers and eBay itself.

The foreign sellers can list/sell all they want regardless of how many American sellers quit.

I thinks what he means is that when an American seller gets shut down they really get shut down. The foreign counterfeiters operate through layers of LLCs and having contractor employees run their own personal ebay accounts and by drop shipping for other foreign sellers.
Thus Bob the US counterfeiter truly gets shut down when get gets shut down. He might be able to get back into the game but he is going to have to pull some shenanigins with LLCs or use someone else's information to do it. He also probably never went into it truly trying to be a criminal organization in the first place.
While the foreign counterfeiter is 100 percent expecting to get shut down, over and over and over again and set themselves up to get around it, over and over and over again.

·6 months agoAs far as I know, ebay doesn't have a maximum number of counterfeiters they allow on the site.
Just because there are less US counterfeiters does not mean there will be more foreign counterefieters.
