Finding someone who can help sell items in the Chicago area
Hi everyone! While I’ve used eBay for ages as a buyer, I’ve never sold anything, and I’m looking for someone who could help sell items for my family for a fee. My father has a large collection of goods ranging from Happy Meal toys to antique pottery and cookie jars. Would this be possible?

·5 months agoI would recommend selling them yourself here on eBay. If someone sells them for you, then they become liable for dealing with fees, income tax, returns, refunds, damages, etc.

·5 months agoThese are not idea situation any longer due to all the tax filings. My guess is any seller that would attempt to sell for you would take the lion's share of proceeds, and that's on gross not profit.
If selling isn't your thing, try to list in mega lots for a local buyer to purchase for local pick up...maybe just a few listing could clear it all out, the rest donate

·5 months agoProbably going to be best for you to learn to sell on ebay. Someone else could try but then YOU would be responsible for returns. And they would probably need to sell under YOUR ebay user name for you to receive the funds.
