Fees
Can someone explain to me why I sold my item for $20 and only received half after all the fees? eBay charges a sales tax and a transaction fee, as it's an international sale. I understand the sales tax, but what's the $4 transaction fee for? It's become very unprofitable to sell through this platform.

You probably should ask your question on the German board.

·11 months agoIt's a Because we can Fee. eBay has a whole group of people that's whole purpose is to figure out how to increase their Bottom line. It part of the Process on here You need to figure out all the hidden things that are not in your first understanding of the cost to sell on here. not only on eBay but other platforms as well. they all have them .
