Feedback left
Is there a way to make sure the item description that was sold is not shown under the feedback left by the buyer?

·1 week agoJust curious why you wouldn't want the item title shown, if you were comfortable listing it?

·1 week agoIf you want to sell something that the title of the item cannot be seen on feedback when you list the item you need to set it up as a private listing. This will not show the items title on the feedback. eburtonlab indicated this previously.
You probably don't want to make all your listings private but perhaps there are some that people just don't need to see.

·1 week agoMany buyers will not buy from a seller whose FB is private or who uses private listings.
The reason, they know the seller has something to hide.

One option is to use a private listing -- in that case details are not shown in feedback on the seller's feedback page.

Despite the description, all eBay auctions are treated anonymously, but private listings are shown in feedback as "(private listing)" where the item title would normally appear, and the price is not displayed.
But that must be set up when the auction is initially listed in order to work; it is not something that can be done after the fact.

OP1 week agoYes. Some sellers show feedback but not the item titles.

·1 week agoI'm saying sales that have already happened are showing your items titles, as mentioned if you do a private listing it won't but that can't be changed after the fact.
