My handling time is 3 days and I checked this listing in particular to double check, so for starters, why is eBay showing the 28th? That is only 2 days. Not even counting the time to ship it.
The USPS map shows 3 days minimum delivery to their zip code, not even on a border of service time, smack dab in the middle.
So even if I shipped it right when they paid for it, it would take 3 days, so again why is eBay showing the 28th? That is not even a possibility!

·4 months agoEasy, I'm udderly confused as well... Actually, Cross Eyed Cow, was the name of my first bricks & mortar store about a zillion years ago. It was originally opened on land that had been a dairy farm.

·4 months agoI have 3 days handling time, but nearly always ship on the next business day (the 3 day handling time is simply a CYA for when there is some odd reason why I can't ship til the 2nd or 3rd business day).
eBay obviously "knows" that I usually ship next day and they totally ignore that Parcel Select handling times to some more distant locations seem to have lengthened fairly significantly recently.
Nothing I can do about what eBay "knows" and what USPS does. So I just ignore it and ship as quickly as I can. Knock on wood, so far my buyers seem to be okay with it.

·4 months agoHow do you know if a cow is crosseyed? If they're udderly confused.

OP4 months agoThat is the date shown to buyer when they go to checkout. Not the delivery estimate in the tracking system.

·4 months agoeBay (really Pitney Bowes, since they handle logistics for eBay) uses a variety of factors to come up with the estimated delivery dates. Yes, they are often unreasonable. eBay is very careful to inform buyers they are estimates, but many don't understand that an estimate isn't exact. The range is dynamic, and it will almost always change once the package is moving through that first sorting facility. Check it tomorrow and you will likely see a different range.

·4 months agoAn estimated date can't be wrong. That's why it's called an "estimate."

·4 months agoThat is definitely weird, I would "double check" your turn around time and make sure EBAY knows its 3-days.
