·4 months ago@danasantiques If you have a concern that a buyer you blocked is attempting to buy from you under a different account, you can ask customer service to call you. Explain to them the situation. They will not give you specifics, but I had a gal check out an account I was concerned about recently. She also looked at the person I had blocked. The names were different and the registered addresses were across the country from one another. They won't give you details, like a specific address. She just told me the state, which was good enough.

·4 months agoIf you use Calculated Shipping this is not a problem, since the buyer sees what their shipping cost will be.
And shipping cost is not allowed as part of the Best Offer process.
I have had customers ask for eg $90 with free shipping on an item where I have a $10 shipping fee Flat Rate. My response has been either $90 plus $10 shipping or $80 plus $10 shipping depending on how badly I want the item out of my house.
If you use Free Shipping as a standard, you have to massage your asking price to include a reasonable amount for your shipping costs no matter where the customer's location.
Which is cheaper A $90 item with $10 shipping or a $100 item with Free Shipping?

·4 months agoIf your concern is that you might send an offer to someone in a country to which you don't ship, assuming your settings are correct, they wouldn't get the offer.
FWIW, if someone is on your BBL, they wouldn't get an offer either.

Makes no difference where the buyer is located as they can choose another location to ship to when paying.
I had one where a buyer offer was made to me from the same state that I am in, and then when paying they gave a shipping address that was Zone 6.

·4 months agoThere's no way to know who you're sending an offer to or where they are. If you offer calculated shipping, you won't have to worry about it. 🙂
