ELECTRONICS SELLERS- DEVICES AND OEM pulled Parts.
I have been selling on eBay ON and OFF for 15 Years.
Have experienced multiple booms and multiple slow downs.
My niche has always been pre-owned Devices and OEM Pulled parts.
Never in those years have I experienced the combination of dramatic drop in sales, while the returns spiked also dramatically, to the point of being around 1 return for every 3 sales. And guess what? YES, MOSTLY FRAUDULENT RETURNS, PARTS SWAPPPING.
I AM PIVOTTING, GOING BACK TO A SMALL RETAIL SPACE TO MOVE MY HIGH TICKET DEVICES LOCALLY and giving WHATNOT a GO for Name Brand Computer/Gaming Accessories.

·5 months agoI have sold, on and off, on Ebay since the beginning.
There are many items, which I offered regularly in the past, that I no longer sell online because they are too prone to fraud. Used computer parts were among the first to go. I stopped offering them in 2008. At that point the level of fraud was not as high as your recent experience, but was totally unacceptable.
As for demand, it dropped. Fewer and fewer buyers were upgrading systems they owned and few were bothering to repair the systems they owned when they failed. Today with so many systems which cannot be upgraded to Win 11, there is even less demand for parts for those systems.
Sounds like you are thinking clearly.
