EIS transactions are all off $1.50 between Ebay's transaction report & their financial statement
Summary: In the discussion, oakhollow raises a concern about a discrepancy of $1.50 in EIS transactions between Ebay's transaction report and their financial statement. There are no specific details or solutions provided in the responses, indicating that the concern remains unaddressed.
For every EIS transaction I have, the amount of shipping paid by the customer shows $1.50 higher on Ebay's financial statement report than it does on Ebay's detailed transaction report.
So, if I have 4 EIS transactions in a month, the two reports differ by $6 or $1.50 times 4.
Not big numbers, it's just annoying that something which should match does not.
I can't find anything in the Ebay help pages that mentions any $1.50 charge to the customer.
Has anybody else figured out why this is?
Thanks!

·4 months agoThis is purely speculation, but eBay used to charge me about that much for each eIS order as an "International Service Fee" or something like that. Then, one day they stopped doing that and I haven't been charged one since.
It's possible that eBay started eating that fee in an effort to persuade sellers to stay enrolled in the program. Maybe that's what you're seeing. But again, I'm just guessing.
