eIS shipping to Kazakhstan
Summary: utahautorecycling is trying to ship an engine control module to a customer in Kazakhstan using eIS, but is unable to because Kazakhstan is not listed in the "ships to" list. kensgiftshop and thriftyfiftyfifty suggest that certain items may be restricted or unable to clear customs. tobaccocardyahoo advises against shipping to Kazakhstan due to potential complications. funfactorychannel and marnotom! mention issues with eIS updates and the risk of shipping to countries where tracking may fail, suggesting caution. Overall, participants recommend not shipping outside of eIS for this transaction.
Hey, I have a customer that lives in Kazakhstan that wants to buy an item from me. I have eIS enabled, but it’s telling him i don’t have shipping there enabled. I read that eIS supports shipping there though. The “ships to” list in the listing does not list Kazakhstan. Anyone know how I can do this? I do not want to ship outside of eIS.

·3 weeks agoShipping to Kazakhstan is unreal. I have a hard time swallowing when I notice an EIS care of order. 30% always end up Smashed Goods, Red Derogatory Feedback, Asking me to pay customs import duty fees, Asking for Refunds out of any measurably sane refund window, theft of goods, you name it I've seen it.

·3 weeks ago · EditedeIS’s AI seems to be getting more proactive about dealing with problematic items or destinations at the listing stage, rather than allowing items to be sold and shipped only to dead-end as “restricted” or “failed” at the hub. Sometimes it gets it right, sometimes it doesn’t.
Unless you’re prepared to ship the item directly to Kazakhstan yourself, there’s really nothing you can or should do except apologize to the buyer.

·3 weeks agoprobably was remove by EIS but didnt update the documents.
I wouldnt go outside EIS, those are countries where tracking can disappear and all they do is file INR.

·3 weeks agoIf EIS does not permit it, I would not be troubled. The likelihood is that this transaction will be a problem.
Tell the buyer that you do not ship to Kazakhstan and never will.

·3 weeks agoTypically if a Country is missing from an Items Ship To Dropdown, Customs/Import Requirements don't allow the Item.

·3 weeks agoMaybe it's the item that can't be shipped to that country?
If it can't, no matter how you ship it, probably won't make it through customs.
