Edits made after a photo is added here are ignored
I have noticed that if I write a comment, then add a photo, and then edit those previous comments - that those edits to the text do not appear in the final version. It’s as if adding a photo at the end of the comments is the last thing that counts.
(After the comments are published I can edit them, though.)
But I don’t check enough to say that this happens every time.

Could it be that you edited after posting the comment but BEFORE the moderators approved it? IDK if that would affect what you are saying, but it could.
All posts that have a pic or links has to get approved before it actually posts on the thread so that others [other than the poster] can see it. You do get a notification when the post was approved.

OP1 month ago · EditedThanks for the reply. I appreciate hearing your experience. Do you know that tonight’s photo attachment which prompted my comment about editing was published but I was not notified that it was approved. That’s a first, I believe.
And I edited before I even hit the blue ‘Comment ‘ button - reworded a phrase or two and changed a ‘that’ to a ‘who’ - those changes weren’t reflected in the original published comment.
Edit: the notification that the attachment was approved arrived about an hour after the post containing said attachment was visible to all.
