eBay's new policy for selling from overseas warehouse
Hello there,
I am a new seller on eBay and I want to do dropshipping, I am located in Saudi Arabia and I have a private supplier in China, when I tried to list my first item I got this error:
"It appears you’re listing a forward-deployed item in a country different from your registered address. These items can’t be listed according to our Overseas Warehouse Block Policy. To ship from overseas warehouses, apply at whappeals@ebay.com.{e280323-1276646x}"
I emailed them to apply for this and get approved to sell, still didn't heard anything back from them
but my question is did anyone face the same issue? and how did you overcome it?

·9 months agoWell, as for dropshipping, I advise you to stay away from it completely. Please ignore all the videos circulating online that encourage you to dropship, especially on platforms like eBay.
Regarding your question about applying for the overseas warehouse service,
Did you receive a link via email containing a form to fill out?
If you did, you must fill out the form and provide accurate information about the business you are currently running or intend to run.
If you did not receive it, contact support and ask them for assistance in this regard.

·11 months agoGood. Last thing eBay needs is more drop shipping junk peddlers. Posts like this give me hope they might be trying to clean the place up.

Dropshipping that junk from China, you're going to have a lot of competition that you'll have to sell it so cheap and the only one that's going to make any money is the dropshipper.
Sell something you can pick up local and ship yourself.

·11 months agoActually you should probably stop right there. Trying to drop ship junk items from China will not end well.
Find something in your own country that people elsewhere will want to buy. Then you can take your own photos and write your own description for an item that you actually have. Good luck.

·11 months agoYour best bet is to find items in your own country and ship yourself. Drop shipping makes money for the supplier not the sucker. It's a pyramid scheme shaped like a dollar bill.

·11 months agoIf you are going to drop ship junk from China, you won't be selling long. It's a bad idea and rarely works out.
