Ebay suggested that I add free shipping to an item that is $4.99 that will cost me at least $6 to ship.
From personal experience, I highly recommend taking ebay's "price suggestions" and putting them in the same place you put your #1 and #2. Don't forget to flush.

Yes... it might be that the AI is misinterpreting some adjective or noun in the title and coming up with a completely wrong idea about what the item actually is or what its comparable sales would be... Like listing a fender washer and having the AI think that you are listing a fender... or a power washer for cleaning a fender...

It's a collection of nearly 100 early US numismatic items in two albums, and the market price for each item is typically $35-75.
I have for example almost every penny produced from the old Indian heads of the 19th century to the Lincoln cents starting the 20th century. I am missing maybe 20 coins. I have five that are valued at $100 +. The rest are 20-50 cent coins. Even if you have completed folders of US coins 1250 may be stretch but $4.50 is ridiculous. If they are foreign coins they are worth less unless they have historical value. See my partial collections of pennies and Vietnam era coins.
I think my point is to get it evaluated at a coin shop and then you will know better. If they are 19th/20th century silver/gold US coins they could be worth more. I use the Coin Redbook to have an idea of my coins worth.

It's like clicking on the "Research Prices" button and you get everything BUT your item.

That may or may not be telling you something of what lies ahead for this listing.
Most sellers who bother to look at the suggested price will know to ignore it, idiots will follow the recommendation.
