    eBay's AI is completely useless.

Every listing I report, they just use AI to come back and say "no violation".

Yet I got a listing taken down the other day for using a "stock photo", which hurts absolutely nothing.

Someone selling aftermarket parts as Bosch? Completely fine.

Multiple seller accounts selling the same exact thing? Completely fine.

    Fake silver coins? Completely fine.

It is working as Ebay intends,

Your reports of listing violations are counted, and not investigated.

The AI response is the result of a simple check which catches nothing other than blatant policy violations which are the results of the use of the wrong words.

Ebay has a long history of malicious reports of violations by a seller, and does not rely on those reports unless they exceed a threshold number.

Your fakes will be dealt with if they con enough buyers who discover they are fakes and file an Ebay MBG claim.

The self appointed vigilantes are no more believed than the seller whose listing it is. 30 years of experience takes precedence.

    Preaching to the choir, lol.

The days are long gone where eBay might take a look at a reported listing.
