Ebay won't let me create a new policy
Created auction style listings, but Ebay won't let me create a new payment policy where the Immediate Payment box is unchecked.
Why is that?

·2 weeks ago@sun*moonbygrace I have a couple different Payment Policies which attach to my listings just fine. Based on your comments you are trying to create from inside a "Listing". Have you tried to create it from the Business Policies Page itself? Try that. It will take, you just have to make sure you Title it very different from your other Payment Policy and Edit the Description box as well so eBay recognizes them as completely different policies.

OP2 weeks ago · EditedThe payment policy is for Auction style listings with "Buy it Now" option not checked. Yet, when I click on "Create a New Policy" inside the listing, an error message pops up saying: "This policy is the same as your existing policy. You can either use your existing policy or make changes to this one." If I were to make changes to "existing policy", said changes would affect more than a 100 existing listings which I obviously don't want to happen.

·2 weeks agoEbay has created payment policies for every seller on the site. I think you are talking about something specific to you which is more commonly known as TOS [terms of sale]. Those things are typically stated in the description of the item you are wanting to list.
Policies like the payment policy is set in stone on Ebay. While sellers can allow buyers to take longer to pay, they can't require that they pay in a shorter period of time as it is not enforceable.
What kind of payment terms do you want to offer your buyers?
