Ebay Watchers
I have been with Ebay since the beginning!!!!! I have Items to sell and a lot of Watchers but they just watch. I would like to see Ebay add the option for watchers to contact the sell or delete there watch. I know why they watch and do not bid. They watch , just to see what it sell for or if it sells. The Watch option shouls be used to allow a Prospective Buyer, the avenue to bid on the item. Allowing the Ebayer just to see if the item sells and at what price, is waste of the sellers time.

·4 years agoWatchers make me feel alive. I don't understand your suggestion. Watchers can contact the seller and/or delete their watch.

·4 years agoDon't worry too much about watchers. Many just want to see if your item actually sells. It would be foolish for Ebay to just randomly delete watchers. If I have a list of things I am watching, and Ebay just decided to remove my list I would be very upset. There is a reason for watching.

·3 years agoWe do worry, Watcher ruin it for seller. Many watcher are more trouble than they're doing good. In fact watcher ruin sales. Once you send out a offer to watcher. Your offer get disable for real buyer, Your advertisement are disable. Which mean, You can't edit anything within a couple of day's or send out offer. Sometime It effect real buyer, The real buyer may found another item similar from someone else.
I found a hack by using copy and paste to find the I.D but it was taken down after I release it off youtube. eBay doesn't read their own community page or care about seller experience. Unless hundreds of people make a actual complaint to them.
I already suggested this type of Ideal to eBay nothing has been done.
Sidenote: Sometime watcher play childish games as well, Watcher want heavy discount or free, Higher risk of returns as well.
You can report watcher to ebay for harrasment
