The buying and selling cars on eBay are advertisement and non-binding agreements sales. We offer for buyers to help with car shipping, financing or payments by providing our contact information. It's required for used car dealers and part of the service we provide. eBay does not want it and asking to remove. We have sales licence to sell cars but eBay doesn't. We have follow states regulations to complete transaction. We recieved a lot of calls asking for vehicle condition, financing and shipping. Now people cannot do it and using other websites buyers sellers friendly. I don't know any other cars website who remove dealer contact information. I guess eBay doesn't understand the legal process of the title transfer and car sales.

OP2 weeks agoBy law the buyer must contact us to verify age, legal driving documents and insurance. It's different than selling other items on ebay. It's why buying and selling cars on ebay are advertisement and non-binding agreement contract.

Not the ideal way, but it is all you have at this time.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT or ask an Agent to call you, in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.
