Ebay standard envelope tracking/delivery debacle
So i typically wouldn't do all this but after researching and hearing all these ebay cant do no wrong people roast anyone who dares complain about LEGITIMATE issues that are clearly not being resolved.. i decided to type up my current month of ebaying and would love to hear how im in the wrong! Im copying and pasting a comment i made on a ebay podcast talking about the KNOWN BY EBAY ESE ISSUES that triggered me.. so if the beginning doesnt make sense this is why..
Lol this had me lmao by how ridiculous there answers for the ESE debacle was! So ebay knows the service is messed up.. yet they continue to let buyers choose ese for shipping knowing full well the likely hood there is a issue with the buyer getting delivered there card and there answer to this is basically your SOL! This should literally be criminal! Im not even kidding.. i have 62 orders all ese shipping and NOT A SINGLE ORDER shows the item out for delivery or delivered! Meaning I have not received a payout from ebay in over a month when for months I was payouting every few days! Im literally at my wits end with ebay.. not only am i not getting paid but for 30 days after the sale all of a sudden after months of getting paid as soon as processing cleared.. which they took away because they said im selling to much.. isnt that the entire point of EBAYING!!! but ebay has literally refunded 5 or more orders that INR even though the tracking shows scans often multiple scans.. or with messages like running late.. they refunded the buyer with my on hold funds even tho I shipped there item, the item was scanned in by usps, how is this in anyway legal? Its like a MAJOR issue with so many other sellers all saying the same thing yet nothing is being done! AND there go to answer is.. file a claim.. yeah okay great.. more work that I have to do... along with all the stress that comes with that.. and literally having no $ coming in to give my moral a boost.. ima grown man and the amount of time ive put into ebay this last year while dealing with debilitating health issues.. I get all my orders out the next day 9/10 times even when i literally have to go through major discomfort i did it ahyways all in the name of keeping my seller rating above average.. just to have it taken away for reasons that any rea l human judge would side with me.. its enough to make tears fill my eyes, ebay is how i feed myself at this point.. [Removed by moderator] ooo and due to having 62 different buyers blowing me up over the ese Issues and fileing inr claims ive been beyound stretched thin to the point I didbt appeal defects because ive been so busy with the ESE mess and now im below standard.. I have a # support gave me in case i got a defect to have it removed and ebay literally will not let me appeal because i already appealed and due to there use of non humans to determine these outcomes which is inherently flawed and make mistakes, they (support) tells me there nothing they can do.. I went from 200+ listing views to 37, 46, 22 over night! When i tell u im about to crash out.. im serious.. they need to reevaluate the way they run this platform.. without us sellers they would have NO REVENUE AT ALL!!! So yaaaaa lets find every way to pile on the ones making there business possible... totally sounds like how a company should run.. psych! That was sarcasm.. im done

·5 months agoEtsy has the same service and yet all of my tracking on Etsy updates to delivered. Right now I have Ebay ESE tracking on tons of orders going back to february that have never updated to delivered. Up until mid February i had never had any issue with the ESE updating as delivered but since then it's been about 50/50 on whether they show as delivered. It's not a USPS issue. It's an Ebay issue with their system not kicking in that last update just saying delivered like Etsy's system does. If they would just do some quick coding in the back end to tell the system to update to delivered after the typical 2 days of out for delivery updates all would be good and sellers wouldn't have to worry about dishonest buyers trying to get free items. It would literally take not much time at all to drop some code into their system to fix this issue.

·5 months agoThere is no debacle, I have shipped probably 10,000 standard envelopes over my accounts and those I manage for others.
If you are having serious problems with standard envelope then you are overpacking your envelopes or handing them to a postal clerk who hates you.
Look for my youtube videos on standard envelope packing, or someone elses.
The showed delivered early issue is something most frequent customers who shop those categories already know about. For others a simple reply of "Standard Envelope is tracked through the automated system and it sometimes shows delivered early, expect it in the next couple days." is all you need.

Buyers can only choose the shipping methods on a sellers listing.
Buyers cannot just choose an option the seller doesnt offer.
If you have this many problems with ESE - dont offer it.

With the tracking clear and concise and 99.99% effective.
Or, Do I pay .74 for ESUS which is also fairly fool-proof?
With the poor tracking and confusing customers and still
in the end, 99.99% effective.
All I care (As a seller) is that the correct item gets to the correct buyer.
Couldn't possibly care any less about how the tracking updates or when.

Not sure what you think Ebay can do about it, it's a USPS problem.
