Ebay sided with a buyer that attacked me
Ebay sided with a buyer that flipped out on me because I didnt agree to their *very* strange shipping DEMANDS. I thought they were a scam site (boaus05) because this person DEMANDED I send their items immediately with strange money requests. When I told the stranger that their demand was not something I found trustworthy online, ebay sided with them and allowed them to write a terrible review on my page. This site allows harrassment and Im not longer using it for that reason.

·3 years agoYou do not leave because of 1 bad experience. Immediately contact Ebay via Facebook. When you write to them, use MESSAGE ME (MESSENGER) . Explain the situation briefly. Ask Ebay to go ahead and read the buyer's emails to you and to please remove the negative.
Please make sure that you have blocked this buyer. In the future, if someone asks for anything else, just say no and let them know that you will be contacting ebay to read the emails that they sent you requesting something that is NOT in the listing (or requesting that you violate ebay policies.)
You can always respond with " I am sorry but I can't do that because ebay reads my emails. " That should make the buyer stop.

·3 years agoI'm so sorry this happened. And I totally understand. In one of my Etsy shops I had another vintage seller message me almost daily for a few weeks complaining about something in my shop. He would accuse me of selling it too high, or too low, or he would accuse me of describing it wrong or having the date wrong. At first I wrote back to him and said, thanks for trying to help, I'll check on that...then I'd just say thanks and leave it at that. Then after about a dozen messages I wrote and explained that I've been in this business for more than 50 years so I think I know what I'm doing by now, and to please stop trying to help me. Then he purchased a really low dollar item and I knew what he was doing, so I moved the ship date out as far as I could move it, then I cancelled and refunded him and with the ship date moved, he couldn't leave a review. He then wrote with a whole lot of foul language and demanded to know why I cancelled his order. My point is that there are just people in this world who have nothing better to do that to try and make trouble for others. I guess they just get a kick out of it in some odd way. I learned my lesson and when I get a strange demand, I ignore it.

·3 years agoIf they sent you a message asking you to include gift cards or cash that they would pay for, it’s a scam. Contact eBay and ask them to read the message. They should remove the feedback once they see the scam attempt.

·3 years agoHow are you being attacked? The buyers negative feedback doesn't violate eBay's feedback policy and is their interpretation of the transaction they had with you. You canceled, they are not happy about it. End of story.

·3 years agoWhen you say strange money requests...what does that mean?

·3 years agoYou sold a item to someone.
For whatever reason you cancelled the sale.
The buyer is upset that you cancelled the sale and left you negative feedback.
When/how did the buyer attack you?
