Ebay shipping supplies prices are insane
I used to be able to get 2 (25boxes) for $50 coupon (with couple of dollars on top). I went today to use my coupon and that coupon is worth nothing. Box of 25 boxes is almost $40! My coupon of $25 won’t cover basic supply. Not to mention is is quartely.
wherr do you get your supplies? I need larger sizes 15x10x6 and 16x12x8

·3 years agoEbay is still the cheapest option for me.
I appreciate the $25 coupon. I use it every quarter.
Ebay is one of the few places that will ship shipping supplies to me in Hawaii for free.

·3 years agoIf I recall correctly, eBay wasn't giving us a free gift for nothing. I think eBay raised store monthly fees and maybe FVFs at the same time and gave the coupons to help offset those.
Yes, ebay boxes are expensive. Twenty-five 16x12x8" boxes are $40. But if you have a coupon and don't need any other shipping products, that's $15 for 25 boxes (a price you're unlikely to find anywhere else). $33 is the lowest I see from other sellers for that size and quantity.
I've found the quality of all products to be good. The tape is on the thin side, but similar to other low-cost tape. I have so much of the tape that I wrap it all the way around top and bottom seams so it seals to itself. Never had a problem.

·3 years agoyup...been that way past year or so now...with the occasional price increase here and there. Be fine if their quality was good...which it's not on most things. I use coupon for tape and bubble mailers... neither get it for nothing anymore with $25 coupon...but I do it anyways cause i get the coupon and they usually deliver within 3 days.

·3 years agoWalmart boxes and staples are super cheap you have to buy a minimum of 5 at staples but they run a good sale ebay supplies are ridiculous besides they get enough money out of fees and promoted listings. Also i believe U-Line has good prices if you buy like 50-100.

·4 years agoPlease, you're looking a gift horse in the mouth. Fifty boxes in the 16x12x8 size will be about $25 with the coupon, about 50 cents a box. Not to mention the 3 free gigantic boxes they are shipped in.

·4 years agoAgree with toysaver - these free shipping supply coupons should be seen for what they are - a free gift for you. eBay does not have to give that money to sellers. The coupon may not cover supply cost increases due to inflation but it helps.
FWIT as an aside: I once received a nasty complaint from a buyer. She was furious that the totally free gift I included with her order was not big enough for her. She loved the item she purchased but demanded I send her a bigger free gift. Go figure, naturally I blocked her, she can get her free gifts elsewhere.
Best wishes to you!

·3 years agoI can buy the polymailers I like from another supplier for less than I would get it with my "free gift" from Ebay. They are calling it a free gift, but now the cost is jacked up so much that they are making a nice profit. The only thing you can get for under $25 is maybe some stickers or postcards which is advertisement for Ebay and not actually shipping supplies.
