ebay shipping on new listings is all jacked up
I wish they would not push changes to live site. So they just changed the whole shipping in the listing template.

This happened to us awhile ago also! During ebays constant updating and tweeking- sometimes the defaults get messed up and your account got switched to using business policies. They are fien if you sell all the same thing and just have a few shipping options that you use all the time, but if you sell unique items with calculated shipping that needs to be updated on a listing by listing basis- business policies are not practical.
If you go into your account settings and find business policies and toggle them OFF- the listing form will revert back to the typical view of shipping for you.

OP3 years agoI did but ebay is having some real problems. They were able to change it back though. I had business policies turned off, it was turned on automatically per the ebay rep.

·3 years agoI experienced something similar in my book selling account, where I had media mail. Suddenly, the drop down was a huge list with every price I had ever changed for every weight, over several years. I had to get a call-back, and the rep helped me for about 40 minutes to clean up my shipping Business Policies. I then changed all my book listings to Media Mail Calculated Shipping so I wouldn't have to adjust shipping as the USPS raised Media Mail. I did, however, have to add package dimensions to every old listing. I didn't have this problem with my 2 accounts that sell dishes, because they had calculated shipping, with no old fixed prices I my shipping business policies.

·3 years agoThe new listing form is set up for sellers to use business policies.
Setting up business policies is really simple you can create different shipping policies for items that ship differently. When you list you simply select the shipping policy you want to use.
Same goes for returns. The only policy you won’t be able to create is payment policy eBay creates that for you. Business Policies

·3 years agoI don't currently use Business policies, I plan to, but at this time I do not and I don't have any unusual issues with the listing form.

·3 years agothe only thing I have noticed on some of my older listings is that if they were originally set up as a flat fee shipping cost, I cannot now revise and put weight & dims in and set shipping as calculated per destination.
