How can I access a real person either by chat or by phone?

·2 weeks agoOn each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
Things have changed in recent months and Ebay is not offering customer service on any site other than Ebay and Instagram right now.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT or ask an Agent to call you, in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

·2 weeks agoGo to Ebay HELP page and go to bottom of page click CONTACT US (follow prompts and click on REASON). This directs to the EBAY web page and you must read EBAY policy.
Easier ask your question here (there are many professional sellers who give great advice).

·2 weeks agoYou probably don't need to, or really want to. Why don't you ask your question here? Most questions will be better answered by the sellers here, and it's not unusual for customer service to either give incorrect answers, or for you to end up with a result you don't want.

·2 weeks agoI've only been able to find chat by googling for the url. It was off for a while, then came back. I'm not sure if it's even there anymore.
I've always gotten a real person by phone.. just telling them I need a call back. I haven't done it in a while.. Best is google and see.. I think they are charging more and doing less for the users here.
