Ebay pulled a fast one with the Authenticity Guarantee..
This seems to be crazy to me and I am a 20 year member buying and selling. So, in an example: I sale a pair of shoes. It goes automatically to a hold status when I get paid. I know, you have to go through the ringer. Ship them out, get authenticated, and then however long later, you Hold goes away. So, in another example that have had to happen to many for " so many years". I buy an item and it is 4 days later and no response from the buyer when I asked if they could send tracking when it is shipped. Their is no confirmation on shipping or nothing, no response. If you contact Ebay, they will say go on and waste your time til the expected delivery date til you file a claim. It is absolutely confusing why Ebay wouldn't do similar rules with situations like this and Hold payment til the item is shipped and actually in transit to prevent people from stealing your money and wasting your time.

Prior to the 3 sales you had this December (Congrats) You haven't sold any thing in over a year. Things change in business. Here's some info that can be helpful:
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 14 days, although sometimes it may be longer.
It will go quickly. Congrats again on your sales!
Happy New Year!

OP2 years agoThanks! Oh yeah l, I have definitely sold more than that. I find that a lot of people rarely leave reviews like they used to. Happy New Year to you as well!
