eBay Please Do Us a Favor and STOP SUPPRESSING OUR LISTINGS WITH YOUR ALGORITHM
We have tried literally EVERYTHING and our listings are NOT being seen. In the meantime we have had barely any sales in days.
At Christmas. And we sell toys. Nice one, eBay.
People in general are SICK of having to "figure out" these stupid algorithms, ie having to "game" a search engine system to see "what works" so we can have business as usual. If anyone uses Twitter and Mastodon, you're noticing that many people are leaving Twitter because the "fediverse" (social media sites like Mastodon, Counter Social, etc.) is attracting people because in their 100% fair system, new posts (tweets) are seen on a "first-in, first-out" basis instead of having to "impress" the search engine, like sellers here have to do.
People trying to find success on "Big Tech" platforms are SICK of search algorithms. When eBay SUPPRESSES our listings because someone else has had BETTER LUCK, it's THEFT OF SERVICE, and I'd bet you anything eBay uses it to keep people blaming themselves for a BAD SYSTEM. In fact, if eBay didn't use those stupid algorithms, I'm 100% sure they'd see the same amount of sales, but at least it's be fair and democratic.
I've sold here for 24 years under 2 ID's and it's ALWAYS the same. My question for eBay would be "Why do you hate your sellers?"
DUMP THE ALGORITHMS. They're not making your long-time customers happy eBay.

·2 years agoI listed a popular silver coin with "buy it now", 2 views in a month. Listed same coin on an auction....lots of views....pretty freakin obvious!
