eBay please add a Pre owned description to the clothing in the next updates
Unless this is just a wanting us to make an offer to a buyer situation. More than once this month we have been asked if pre-owned means "worn and washed"? Um I may be off here but when I stop at my local resale shop and buy a piece of clothing I already know it is pre worn and I should assume that. Also, that I wash it as soon as I get it home.
Buyers please know that our pre-owned items are pre worn and washed. Also, measurements are included or can be measured especially for you.
Thanks for listening;

·1 year agoAdd a photo graphic. I will be doing that when I get around to listing the clothes in my stash.
So many just look at photos so put info in the photos.

OP1 year agoI realize that they are not here. This is something we have not been asked before this month. It was just an idea to share with eBay and others. "Pre-owned" is just what it means.
Thanks

·1 year agoI was selling clothing a lot on my selling account... jeans especially. Mostly pre-owned stuff. You would think folks would be logical and read descriptions and stuff. Or realize that a 30 year old pair of Levis might have been washed a few times, but I think folks look at pictures and don't know how to read any longer.
You did, in your post, address buyers here. "Buyers please know that our pre-owned items are pre worn and washed." That's why I responded that part.
In my opinion, item specifics are too much already. It's easy to miss things when listing. And people don't seem to pay attention to those anyway.
Even if you describe everything down to the most MOST specific, a buyer can find a reason for return or dispute. Sad, but true.

OP1 year agoAgreed. The description items could be adjusted and be a lot better for clothing. But as you stated, many do not read any more. It just makes extra steps for sellers. We hope you all have a Happy Easter week.

Your buyers are not here... maybe add this information to your item descriptions?
