·3 years agoto answer your question....no one knows.....we are all going to sit here and "speculate" !! why? because EBAY does not have any customer service. nor do they care about sellers and really care to even get back to you. "welcome to ebay"!

OP3 years agoOK so Ebay facebook told me to call customer support.
The electronic device is a genuine weather text receiver for sailing yachts and supported by international agencies.

·3 years agoThey are running you in a circle. If eBay FB won't help, it is probably the end.
Another reason for suspension could be from a previously suspended account used by you or a family member with the same address or even the same IP address.
Think about where you logged in to EBay from. Cafe? University? Friends house? Friend logging in on your WiFi?
Sorry that you are in such a delimma.

OP3 years agoThanks, I only login from home and through a VPN. If they have a problem with VPN's they'd probably be losing a lot of customers. It hardly seems a reason for immediate expulsion.
I'd say it was their loss and just not bother, except they're holding the money from my sale.

·3 years agoI knew you used a VPN as soon as you said "'According to our records, your account has violated our site policies'." That means you used a VPN. They should have warned us about that before they robbed us of our money and a weather box.

·3 years agoThat doesn't mean their team of experts knows what it is exactly. I posted a police badge from 1948 United Kingdom, and was told I was violating the "Nazi item policy" by listing a Nazi Germany item from WWII. I tried to tell customer support that 1948 is after WWII and there is no Nazi party in the United Kingdom, but she kept having to put me on hold to talk with someone. They are not necessarily logical, and if it was the item, it might be they thought it was something else. Unfortunately if they don't listen, there's not much you can do to fix this.
