eBay permanently suspended my account AND hold my funds?!?
Last week, my account was “permanently restricted†from selling on eBay and I truly have no idea why. I sold a module I bought from an auction to the Netherlands (I live in the US) then got a MC011 notice on 2/27. I went back and forth for two week proving to them I am a legit business and LLC, proof of identity, proof of address, sent proof of purchase on 80% of my items with invoices, receipts then bank statements, credit card statements to prove we paid them and was still permanently restricted.
For the items I did not have proof of merchandise for, I went into specific detail why I did not- which was they were older vintage items like a 1963 Barbie Travel Case I inherited from my deceased mother or old bus parts off my fathers bus he stripped (sent what I could proving that). I only sold 49 items so there was only 7 items I didn’t have proof of purchase of and they were very small price items not equalling more than $45. I called eBay almost everyday for help to only get massive misinformation and false hope from every single person I talked to and just the end result being permanently shut down with absolutely ZERO explanation why.
The reason I’m asking for help here is they have a very large sum of funds they’re holding and won’t release until May 15 which is 72 days. Of course when I call, I get absolutely no help whatsoever. I’d really like to have my funds and be done with this situation as eBay was my main source of income…. Can anyone help? Thanks

Sorry for your situation, but this is what happens when you are suspended. If you have no receipts for several of your purchases, Ebay isn't going to give you back your account. You're a new seller selling multiples and high dollar merchandise. That will raise red flags every time. Also, it may be longer than 72 days.
The only thing you can do is wait out the 72 days and then go to your states unclaimed funds department. You can retain your monies there with proper, current ID.
