eBay payout hold delays have become as criminal as the eBay board of directors.
Summary: cowboykites1 criticizes eBay for not adhering to its own policies, particularly the "Buy It Now" feature, which they claim is dysfunctional. They voice strong dissatisfaction with the company's management and accuse eBay of inefficiency. jonathanbrightlight argues that the payment holds are justifiable as protective measures, while duffy4444 and pickapaper comment on the negativity and suggest alternatives for dissatisfied users. inhawaii shares frustrations with the same issue, and others provide varying perspectives on dealing with eBay's policies.
eBay does not follow its own policies. Maybe ebay needs to pay its head CEO another 10 million dollars a year so the BUY IT NOW price field on a listing isn’t as “sticky” as the salaries of its employees.
I other words, the BUY IT NOW field, doesn’t usually work, just like the people that purportedly “manage” eBay.
This company has NEVER had management. It will NEVER correctly apply AI to its operations. It is just getting worse for sellers, buyers and employees. It’s a BLOATED stock price.

·2 weeks agoWhenever someone comes on here and throws out all kinds of slams and accusations without providing any details or reasons for the post, said post is absolutely meaningless.
No one is forcing you to be here. If you don't like things here, there are plenty of other places to buy or sell.

·2 weeks agoYes, when are they going to fix that dreaded "buy it now" button. Mine hasn't been working for weeks.

·2 weeks ago · EditedOK, OK... You've received the attention you are obviously seeking.
I see that you have no listings currently. I hope your shallow insults mean you're no longer selling here.
Cheers, Duffy

·2 weeks agoThat’s a lot of accusations without any evidence. Payment holds apply for many possible reasons and most sellers who complain about them have not read or are misunderstanding the policies. It’s to protect eBay, and its users.

·2 weeks agoThe only holds I have issues with are the ones where you have an INR dispute where tracking shows delivered. FGS that should be an auto case closed TYVM.
