eBay now dictating the price you can set when sending offers to interested buyers???
Previously when sending offers to interested buyers I could choose what ever price I wanted to offer, but last night when I went to send offers to buyers interested in one of my items I attempted to send an offer 25.00 below the listed item but: Just below the amount box a red colored message said invalid amount, amount must be xxxxxx. When the hell did eBay start setting the price of our offers? I read on google there is a way to disable this and go back to setting my own prices but I can not find where to do it. Has anyone found how to disable this horrible feature?

·5 months agoThe offer must be at least 5% off. If your offer was less than 5% discount, you'd get that message. You can of course give a bigger discount, but no more than 75%. At some point it gives you a warning that the discount you are offering is very large.

·5 months agoDisable what? Just don't use it if you don't want to. It's fully optional to send discounted offers. No one is twisting your arm (or are they?)
You can set your own prices, but if you want to send a discounted offer, it's got to actually be a discount. At least 5% off.

·5 months agoplease dont send me any offers less than 10%.I been sending them to the block list hoping to not able to get to get future offers from them. Eventhough its meant for buyers I think it should have same affect for sending messages.

·5 months agoNope, EBAY has decided that offers must be at least 5% off.

·5 months agoSpecial offers must be 5% or more to go through. Honestly unless it's 10% or more off majority of buyers will not bother agreeing to your special offer.
