    EBay not paying

Summary: penrodsales expressed frustration over not receiving payment from eBay after selling $145 worth of items. Several participants provided insights, suggesting that the funds might be held due to eBay's policies for new sellers, which include payment holds after delivery confirmation. tobaccocardyahoo and others clarified eBay's policies, while others advised penrodsales on improving their selling practices, such as correct spelling, better item descriptions, and using fixed pricing instead of auctions.

so far I have sold $145.00 worth of funco pops and EBay has paid me $000 WHY???????

    A brand-new private seller

New private sellers will typically receive their funds within 2 days after delivery confirmation (for items sent with an ebay label), 7 days after delivery confirmation (for items sent with a third-party label), OR 31 days after the buyer pays (for items sent without tracking) while they build a consistent track record. Once they've qualified to receive their funds faster, they'll typically receive their funds within 2 days of the buyer’s payment.
    An occasional seller

Sellers who haven't yet established a strong, consistent track record or who don't have any recent selling history will typically receive their funds 24 hours after delivery confirmation (for tracked items), or 31 days after the buyer pays (for items sent without tracking).

If you previously qualified to receive your funds faster as a new seller, you may experience this hold if you haven’t sold in a while. If you do, you’ll receive your funds 2 days after delivery confirmation or 14 days after the buyer pays.

Make sure you read the ENTIRE first sentence carefully. Ebay has THREE options in which they [Ebay] may take advantage of. And they aren't in order of the most used option. So they CAN hold your funds up to 31 days if the deem it is necessary for one reason or another.

You're a new seller and they can hold your funds for 30 days.

You didn't ask for advice but here goes anyway.

Whatever you are selling, be sure to spell the name correctly. You still have one listing up that says "Funco".

Stop doing auctions and list your items as a fixed price "Buy It Now". Auctions are only good for very rare, highly collectable or highly sought-after items. Buyers don't want to bid on a common item and then wait a week to see if they win or not. And the items probably sold for less than you hoped because you only got one bid.

Stop using AI to describe your items. You have already received a neutral feedback because the buyer said the box was damaged. There was nothing in the photo or description about this damage and you should know that the box is just as important as the item with many of these toys. AI telling a buyer that the item is a "must for every collection" says nothing about the item. You need to describe the item yourself giving measurements if needed, and describe and photo any damage on any items you list.

Wow, it's crazy to see how many have been sold under the misspelling Funco.

@penrodsales I see three Funko Pop sales under the account you've posted under. With shipping the combined total comes to less than $40. eBay fees and your shipping labels would come out of that. Where are you getting the $145 from? All three sales are very low dollar. I'd be shocked if you had $10 coming to you.

If you have to ask why, you have no business selling on ebay.

You should learn how it works BEFORE you sell something.

Perhaps you should read up on payment holds.

Have you looked at your payment summary?

    Are your proceeds being held?

New sellers usually have a 30 day after delivery hold on the proceeds from their sales.

This may appear longer because when funds become available they may be applied to later charges and fees.

Selling on Ebay without having read the help for new sellers can be very frustrating.

Is that "usually" per policy? I don't think so. It is just a few days if using eBay labels. 30 days is for not using tracking at all or high-value sales.
