eBay never ceases to amaze me
I had two cases that couldn’t be any pre cedar were fraud yet I had todo all the work and got them both resolved in my favor. Within min of the being resolved eBay places a hold on my account funds stating I have a few items not showing delivered. I checks out and every single one that doesn’t show delivered I used eBay’s standard envelopes . Now if I can see that in 10 seconds and also see tha majority have left good feedback why can’t they? It’s almost like they do it just to hold the money. They allowed buyers to open 3 cases back to back to back on the same Item each tie different reason and tie a lot of money up for over a month and now they can’t see the tracking of something they promote and want you to use? And to think a $9 item using a shippping label provided by eBay put a hold on funds over1k. Please be careful everyone I guess ow they can put a hold on your funds even when they’re to blame.
( and yes I have one neg feedback for now that will go away once case shows closed?

·1 year agoESE is a problem for some products and the way some sellers pack.
I ship cards using top loaders. Some never arrive, others arrive late, some fly though the mail if I use ESE.
Knowing there are potential problems with ESE, I forego selling items which are not worth enough to justify Ground Advantage.
There is a correlation between your problem and using ESE. The EBay bots do not know that, but they detect the problem.
ESE is never going to get better because the USPS is not going to replace the letter sorting equipment, there is no justification for further investment in letter mail. USPS created ESE to try to get more volume through the equipment they own which is underutilized.

OP1 year agoI figured it the hard way not to ESE don’t think it was an issue since I’ve been using them since September and it only arises now. I got a live agent she acted like I was crazy when I told her all the issues stem from ESE until she too the time look but nope still got to wait theee days before they even consider lifting the hold and letting me sell . It’s plain stupid and why all of a sudden after the holds lifted den false disputes does t matter why did it not matter in nov when I sold my last ESE????

OP1 year agoWhat does that have to do with anything??? Are you missing the point?? Or just making a statement? In case you missed it i will again lay it out. Ebay encourages sportscards sellers to use ESE to ave the buyer money. Then eBay turns around and puts a restriction on you because those ESEs never get scanned for delivery. So us selllers can be penalized for using a system eBay wants us to use. And on top of that if a buyer catches on and dies an item not recieved these no way to fight it. So using ESE only screws the seller in the long run doesn’t hurt eBay or the buyer In anyway. And to answer your question yes we do have tracking for all that called certified mail you just gotta use it.

·1 year agoI don't know if ebay "encourages" sellers to use it.
They came up with it and made it available but I don't think ebay cares if you use ESE, GA or PM.
I refuse to use ESE because of all the complaints (like yours) I see on these boards.
