Ebay Motor sellers want to know why your sale have slid into the gutter take a look
Let me go into detail here so you can understand and check you own listings.
Since day one ebay has been told that the compatibility chart will never work nor be accuarte, no such thing exists on the planet...anyhow....you will notice that I created this listing on Aug 18 of 2024...and all the proper boxes WERE checked at that time..for Valiant Scamp and Duster...just as the main header shows...Further down you will see the red line that states last updated on Oct 18 2025...HOWEVER if you go down further and see the chart that posts all revisions made and the only one I did was the initial creation as noted....SO it was ebay who took it upon themselves to try to band aid the chart that they know is wrong revising everyones stores, and failed to mention it to you.and strangely while it shows the revision of Oct 18 at the top it does not show ebay revision on the revisions chart...I wonder why?...and as you can see they wiped out all but the Valiant listings...which since the Scamp and Duster listing have been wiped out no buyer will be able to find it any longer on ebays search engine or other search engines meaning loss of sales...the buyers are out there. The damage caused by ebay is great as you will now have to spend countless hours checking your listings and revising them back to the proper settings....I have spent the last 6 months repairing my stores listings. There is only one solution to this issue and that is to scrap the chart completely...and since you, ebay, has damaged my store you need to set someone down and correct every listing back to the way it was listed, there is over 7,000 listing in my store so you better get started.
I also did a random check of many others listings and sure enough they have been wiped out as well so it not just my store it all of them on ebay motors......and you don't even know it....now you do.

OP11 months agoI have strolled around the bay and checking other sellers of parts that you have the same issue...and you are losing sales at a fast rate especially for the season when buying is most active....

OP11 months agoWant some more proof and these are not cheap and initially correctly listed including as the main header shows and i the body of the description so tell me ebay where did all my cuda apps go? So ebay how much do you think you are losing on just 1 sale on a cuda buyer....not to mention me losing the sale.... See ebay has backed themselves into a corner since the compat chart is so messed up as you can see when they tried band aiding it it wiped out all ebay motors sellers initial vehicle apps on many if not all, that if they try to band aid it again the same issue is most likely going to happen and wipe out even more...now most of us who sell part are for the most part very good at what they do and know that (I will use Dodge for example) when setting up the listing and see a 1967 Charger R/T shown as an application just laugh knowing that it never existed...HOWEVER the majority of buyers and sellers are not knowledgeable enough to know that a 67 Charger R/T does not nor ever has existed...and would assume since it is listed that it must be true or it would not be there...that only make sense as why would anyone list vehicles that do not exist...so if it is a part that happens to fit all 67 Dodge Chargers one(not knowing any better) would simply check all the boxes...so how can you guarantee "fitment" on a non existent vehicle? YOU CAN'T and the buyers assume it is accurate. And then the trouble begins and you saddle sellers with free returns, because of mess YOU created....this will continue to snowball as more ebay motors seller become aware of it...

·11 months agoEven having the Fitment Plus Auto turned on doesn't update listings that do not have fitment. I have a few items that do not have fitment added to them yet, which some of these listings are a few weeks old and this has not auto populated my listings. I just do not know what they are doing at this point.

·11 months agobeing able to have 100% control of a listing used to be one of the things that was better on ebay than Amazon, over there the catalog is subject to change and is changed all the time sometimes for better many times not.
