Ebay Monthly Fees Double Dipping again
In January Ebay charged the monthly fee for January and also charged for the February fee. This is not the first time that they have shifted fees around to probably show more income to their investors.

I've had a store for well over a decade. It's always been like this. Renewal month is not charged - you are charged for the previous renewal month and the current month on the next billing cycle after renewal.

·3 years agoIt's happened to me a few times. Thought I was getting a free month. No such luck. I think eBay prefers monthly charges to come out of pending sale funds and not to have to go to your checking account to get the monthly charge. So, they have skipped in the past from me when I had no money to take out of pending funds.
Not a big deal. I just keep track of what I owe...and make sure funds are in the bank if I get double charged for a missed month and they have to take it out of my bank.

If the OP paid February again in March, that might qualify....but that is not what happened AGAIN (added for emphasis).

We were unaware that we had paid no fee in the month of January. Details as follows:
No Fee charged in the month of January
The January Fee was charged on Feb 3rd
The February Fee was charged on Feb 3rd
The March Fee was charged on March 3rd
Our mistake. Looking back, the same pattern existed for 2022.

·3 years agoThe reason they give for doing it this way is that until the renewal date passes they don't know if you're going to renew or cancel.
Which (imho) is really weird considering they have no problem billing us for stuff other times.

To some of us the improper use of language is the visual equivalent of the proverbial “fingernails on the blackboardâ€.
I see many posts on these boards where the poster uses inaccurate words leaving at least some of us unsure of what it is that they are really trying to say.
I cringe when I hear a reporter improperly declare that “the town was decimated by the tornadoâ€, or a woman wrongly using “chauvinist†to criticize male supremacist views, or my brother saying “irregardless†(although frankly I think he does it because he enjoys displaying his faux ignorance).

I believe what you meant was "I COULDN'T care less". To say "I could care less" indicates that there is some level of care below which you could still go. And I have no idea what you meant by "wasn't very pacific".

·3 years agoDoes your store renew in January? They always charge for the renewal month along with the next month. Not sure why, but that's what they do.
