Ebay missed monthly payments
Hello,
I want to point out to some sellers who think eBay is collecting interest on their money being held.
For some odd reason, my monthly dues were not collected for May. So on July 3rd I was charged for 2 monthly dues. I had "available funds" and I have money in my bank...but it just went without eBay getting their monthly payment for May. So, for all these sellers who think eBay is collecting interest on funds being held I can honestly say hogwash...
It's happened more than twice and I am OK with it. I keep thinking did I get a free ride for a month. No such luck. Always still hoping for that free ride for a month.

·3 years agoIt isn't "monthly dues", it is your Store Fee.

·3 years agoYes, the same thought occurred to me. Now if they actually believe that eBay is making interest off of them then those same posters now owe eBay interest on the store fee they should have paid last month, but in fact had free use of that money for a month that they should not have. I wonder how many will volunteer. It's only fair.

·3 years ago@richard1rst I'm pretty sure what @12345jamesstamps is seeing is the usual process when the store is up for renewal, as others have said.
But on the topic of whether or not eBay is making interest off of seller funds, you might be interested in this thread....it looks like something may have changed in that regard. 👀

·3 years agoThey do this for some legal reason, end of a contract bill, and a new contract bill on the same monthly statement.
