eBay just restricted my account
I finally made a decent sale (around $500) I sold a bunch of cymbals I'd collected over the years. I was fired in August for being .. different. And no one will hire me. I'm struggling to not loose everything and now they say they need receipts from all the stuff in my shop ...how can I do that? Some of those places don't even exist anymore! Does anyone have any information that could help?😞

·1 year agoWhile you try to work through the issues with eBay explore other options to sustain yourself. EBay is not the only game in town anymore. Utilize other forums and venues to try to sell your items. Local forums and venues generally have no fees, FB marketplace is a huge and well utilized platform. EBay will also probably hold your funds for up to 30 days for the items you have sold. EBay is not the best forum for earning quick cash.

·1 year agoI saw a post on reddit where a seller told ebay their items where "old household items" without receipts and apparently they reinstated their account. No idea if that will work for you though.

This can cause eBay to start asking for receipts.
All I can suggest is that you respond to the requests that these were items you had purchased awhile back and had not used.
Hopefully this will help.
You may also want to private message eBay on the FB page.
