EBay is Locking My Quantity and I need to Change Because of in store Sales
I keep getting a message that says I have to correct Item Specifics to revise quantity but the Item Specifics are locked. Any work around?

·5 months ago@irishmichael4585 : I'm confused: Quantity is not an Item Specific. Quantity is a separate field further down on the listing form that just specifies how many units of that product you have for sale:
Are you not able to change the Quantity field above, or are you hoping to do a global edit of Quantity on all your listings...?

·5 months agoDid you send out offers on anything or did someone send an offer to you? That will lock your listing.

·5 months agoEnd the listing and "sell similar" to start fresh. You can make the adjustments you need to in the draft.

·5 months agoSorry, I don't understand that reply. To "revise" any listing in which the system has locked the description and is not allowing revisions, you simply end the listing altogether and create a new listing.
What does "too many" mean? Too many items? Too many listings? Neither should matter, but you'll have to give a more complete reply for anyone to be able to help you.

·5 months agoI don't think that's the OP's issue. The OP is saying he can't revise his listing, are you the OP? If so, please explain what IT's incompetence has to do with your in store sales and their relationship to your listings.
This is turning into an incredibly weird thread. OP, please clarify exactly what your issue is.

·5 months agoIf you’re having the same problem as the original poster, you need to figure out how you’re going to address it, or if you end up canceling orders because you’re out of stock and didn’t take action, eBay will decide that you’re not allowed to sell here anymore. You can not feel like it all you want, but that won’t protect you or your business.
