Ebay inter Shipping and location exclusions
I only found one posting about this so I want to ask again
Do my excluded locations still qualify for the ebay international shipping program
Or do they override that as well?
Thanks

·2 years agoIf you set up exclusions, @mreinsmith, they will take precedence over eIS.
If eIS allows shipping to France, but you exclude France on your listing, then buyers with a shipping address in France will not be able to purchase your item.

OP2 years agoOnce again, thank you for your help!
What excluded locations would that be?
When eIS is utilized all locations eIS shipped to will be disclosed in the shipping area of your listing.
Since you the seller only ship to the domestic shipping hub what does it matter where the items ships to internationally? Once your item arrives at the shipping hub your part is done and eBay takes over. Image below shows where eIS ships to and the excluded countries

Even if you exclude overseas sales, they can still buy your items.
You will then pay an extra charge in "conversion fees" that you never agreed to.
And then you have to ship it to a eIS freight forwarding hub where you can only hope they "accept" it, and you're covered for a INR .
I have a package I sent to an eIS center in Illinois. The tracking says
It was then issued an Asendia tracking #, shipped across the border, and is now wandering around Canada somewhere.
I can only hope that by processing it through the eIS center, it was "accepted".
Stay tuned.
