ebay has my money and won't release it to me
someone bought something from me on the 6th then paid right away he received it on the 12th then left this feedback the same day "Best seller A+++++" I have called ebay five times asking them where my payment is. On every day they have told me my money would be released momentarily! that was on the 14th. that did not happen! on the 15th I was told they were looking into it, I said LOOKING INTO WHAT? they said customer satisfactions, I said they received they item and left the positive feedback on the 12th of September THEIR OWN shipping information showed the package being received! Then I was told the money would be released on the 16th! I was furious!!! so then came the 16th! $300 is still in Ebay's hands! today I called and "Gabe" told me they were looking into it, at this point I called him out for lying to me because they have all the information-packed the calls I made to them, I asked to talk to security department and he said there is not one I could talk to! At this point I now realize that that I am being robbed by someone within ebay, I think they may have been taken over like MGM in Las Vegas last week! I think I will be contacting my Buffalo NY news paper to tell how Ebay payments have been taken over by an outside entity! I know this now because this Gabe guy told me my money won't be released until the 21st!!!! I am so upset and sitting here crying my eyes out, I sold the item to pay for a bill I had due and now going to mess my credit up! how did ebay ever get like this?

You need to start accepting returns. No returns does not mean no refunds. Read up on the 30 day Money back guarantee that eBay offers to all buyers. Important.

Ebay can hold payments up to 30 days in most cases.

·2 years agoThe only thing I can think of is that it's a higher-priced item than you normally sell. If the transaction for this item (it appears to have sold in July, too) had gone through then, you'd probably have experienced the same.
I agree with @powell-memorabilia... Breathe. Your sales look good. Surely the 'new' hold will go away soon. 🤞
Take a deep breath - your money is coming. Unless there is a return request - those positive ratings mean little to nothing.
