I really enjoyed today's eBay for Sellers Webinar with many helpful tips on creating effective listings.
At the end of the session, Mr. Moore stated that 50 random respondents who complete the survey after the program would be chosen at random to receive a $25.00 gift card.
The body of the e-mail that contained the survey said that 25 randomly selected survey respondents would receive a $25.00 gift card.
Then in the survey itself, there's a question asking whether you want to be included in the drawing for a $25.00 gift card and it says this:
"As a thank you for your feedback, we will randomly select 50 survey respondents to receive a $25 eBay gift card. Would you like to be included in this drawing?"
So, which is it?
Will eBay award a $25.00 gift card to 50 people or to only 25 people?

·4 months agoDo any of you guys use that speadsheet method of listing that Cayley described? That made my head hurt. I mostly use the sell similar method that the guy talked about.

·4 months agoI saw that, but it didn't concern me because I've yet to ever receive anything. 😞
I did enjoy this webinar, though and thought it was one of the most interesting I've watched. I learned (among other things) that I've been messing up by filling out some of my item specs using my own words, rather than the ones provided. I thought if I used the color name given by a company and my buyer searched using that color name, my specs would help to show my listing. I learned that by using my color name it wouldn't be used in search at all.

·4 months ago@monroe67LOL! Not the first time ebay has provided confusing info about this. At least this time, the info agreed the cards would be $25....I think last time there was a question whether they would be $50 or $25 cards.
