eBay Slows Buyers with Bot Detection Warnings

eBay stopped a power-bidder in his (or her) tracks, causing him to lose several auctions, according to a thread on the eBay boards - and that person was not alone.

"In the middle of bidding on 30+ auctions, while adding bids to get sign-out because the eBay bot thinks I am a bot and I lost several auctions," the bidder reported on the eBay discussion boards. "Thank you eBay for another brilliant idea, knock your power buyers out in the middle of auctions!!"

eBay will NEVER...and I repeat NEVER mess with her again.
Top execs in prison, soon to write a "settlement" check in the multi-millions, and front page nationwide coverage as a corrupt organization.
Not quite sure you labeled the proper entity "infamous".

Bidding on 30+ auctions all at the same time? No wonder the system thought he was a bot. That's bot behavior, so the fact that it caught him and made him sign in is a GOOD thing.
