Ebay dropped my listing for Counterfeit with a copy of the original Receipt Listed.
I just spent 15 minutes of my life I cannot get back with an Ebay IA assistant. Worthless, It would probably make me feel better if i stuck an icepick threw my eye instead of having to read the responses from the assistant. I posted an airpod pro 3 right earbud. I attached the receipt I paid for it from apple 2 weeks ago. They dropped my listing for counterfeit, next I cant get past AI DA to get a actual person that can look at the listing. I have been an ebay member for 23 years with 100% feedback and this BOT yanks my listing for conterfiet. This has happened about 3 times in a couple of years for diffferent reasons. I dont sell alot on ebay but it has gone to crap in a hand basket. ?????????????

·8 months agoThe problem is there is no way to tie that receipt to that item. So, it means nothing. Legit or not, don't ever relist it. You will be banned from selling if they keep removing it. They also keep a copy of that listing.

·8 months agoWell you could have saved time by coming here. If a listing is removed then don't list it again. Ebay has determined it being counterfeit. Just sell the item somewhere else. You were most likely reported by another person. Maybe it's what you stated in the listing.

OP8 months agoThats a great idea. I should just stand by the road with a sign "selling right airpod pro".

I have no clue whether your single earbud was authentic or not but receipts don't prove anything. They're easily faked and in fact, there are markets where scamming sellers sell and scamming buyers purchase fake receipts in order to "prove" authenticity of fakes.
I've also seen cases in which authentic receipts from a legit purchase are used for the sale of a fake item.
That's why ebay doesn't accept receipts as proof of authenticity.

OP8 months agoItem Description.
I ordered these to go with what i thought was real airpod pro 3. After i called apple support they told me i had to buy a replacement right airpod. i ordered, it and could not get it to pair. I went to the apple store and they said my airpods were fake. Hence i paid a $108 for this airpod and it’s worthless to me.
Along with the reciept from apple

Ok, I understand what happened in your situation. Here is the problem
"I went to the apple store and they said my airpods were fake."
Well this right here is why your listing was removed. Putting this in your listing would definitely get your ad removed. You bring up fake that will give anyone pause to be concerned.

·8 months agoYou can request a callback from an agent. Surely someone who's been here 23 years knows how to do this.

OP8 months agoThat i would love to do that. Go to help and support and let me know where you find request a call back. I went threw 10 different pages with nothing like that on it.

I have no idea what is going on with your listing or why it was tagged as being counterfeit but I really don't think it would make you feel better to blind yourself.
