ebay customer service reps-IS THIS A JOKE ebay?

I am a Cdn seller and have a Canadian banknote listing that is not visible to US account holders (Item ID: 306914732945). There are no shipping exclusions for the item. If you think I made a mistake, I have listed and sold other items recently (including yesterday) to the USA. I contacted ebay rep Saturday, told I would hear back in a day or 2. Never heard back, so contacted ebay rep today (Wed.).

Talked to 4 different reps.

4th rep told me (in chat): "I have logged into a US buyer account and searched your listing, I am see that it appearing on eBay US site and the 'Make offer' option is available as well."

My response: "If I click on the listing, and try to change my address to a USA address, it does not give an option to click on United States"

then: "There are many options of various countries to click (incl. United Kingdom), but United States is not one of them"

then: "I just did a search for "The Dominion Bank, 1925" on ebay.com and my listing does not show up"

then his response: "Okay, yes Roger I can see that US option is not available to select for shipping even when its listed under 'eBay international shipping'."

Then my response: "I switched my address to United States, clicked on the listing and it says for shipping options: "May not ship to United States"

Come on ebay, is that the best you can.

First make a false statement.

Finally: "To get your issue resolved today, I'll need to transfer you to a specialist. I'll make sure to provide them with all the details you have shared with me. Is this okay?"

then: "I will now be forwarding this chat to the off-line specialist team and they will get back to you via email in 24-72 hours. Please be assured that I am forwarding your details so that they assist you with your concern in the best possible way! Thank you for your co-operation."

If any ebay rep reads this/monitors this-IS THE BEST YOU CAN DO?

Yes you're right that listing does not have shipping available to the USA. However, it does have eIS shipping to many other countries, so the restriction is only for the USA, and not because of eIS shipping in general. FYI @slippinjimmy.

It is more likely to be because of something like this, because of the high value (> CAD$1000):

(Even though Canada is not listed as one of the affected countries, it may just be that eIS doesn't want to deal with importing something this valuable to the USA, and potentially having to deal with something like a formal customs entry procedure.)

ETA: I just noticed, your listing says "Ship ONLY to Canada and US." This is not correct. Not only is shipping to the USA not available, but there are many other countries where shipping IS available:

Your listings for 306914732945 is not available to US buyers because you only offer shipping via EIS.

EIS has a long list of restricted item and that includes paper currency.
