eBay customer service not calling back as stated for months now.
Summary: Several participants raised concerns regarding difficulties in receiving callbacks from eBay customer service, impacting their ability to resolve issues. inhawaii mentioned repeated failed attempts to contact eBay, a sentiment echoed by others who shared similar experiences. One participant expressed frustration over the lack of live chat support, and another suggested checking for blocked numbers or using specific area codes. soh.maryl clarified that the forums consist of eBay users and not employees, recommending alternative solutions for common issues.
Your calls are not coming through. I have tried for over a month to get in touch with eBay about an issue and every time it asks for you to call me, then the call never comes through. I see many people are experiencing this. I have no call filters on either. So that is not the problem. I need a call.

When you post here, you're not addressing eBay or its employees. This is a very large group of fellow buyers and sellers who volunteer their time here to help others and answer questions if/when we can.

·1 month agoHello eBay Support,
My seller account (username: ad355076) has been temporarily restricted and eBay asked me to contact Customer Service to verify my account.
I have requested multiple callbacks through the official eBay Contact Us page, but I am not receiving the calls. Live support is also currently unavailable.
I need to complete the verification of my seller account before the 30-day deadline mentioned in eBay's message.
Could you please help me reach the appropriate account verification team or provide another way to complete the verification?
Thank you.

"Your calls are not coming through".
No one here is calling you. These Boards are made up of fellow eBayers, buyers and sellers like yourself. None of us are eBay employees.
Most issues/problems on eBay can be easily resolved without needing to call or contact eBay. You have not given details but I certainly hope your issue from 3 months ago has been resolved satisfactorily.

·2 months agoI had two calls two days in a row where there were successful callbacks. The new iPhone scanning is great until you actually want a call.
I would just check to see if the number was blocked or you need to whitelist it
The number that came in was an 801 number out of Midvale, Utah. If that helps you.

·2 months agoExactly what do you want eBay to "fix"?

·2 months agoThe same thing here, for 3 weeks I couldn’t get in touch with eBay, my phone number just the same, no block on it of any kind. What a taste of time. Their number 18665403229, stated the same thing we currently can’t connect you. Live rep. Chats are also not available on eBay help page, this is a complete disaster.

·3 months agoSame issue here, tried 2 times today no call in 2 minutes, no call at all. Haven't needed them to call me in probably over a year and never had an issue receiving calls from them before. Did you ever get in contact with them?

·3 months agoYour phone is likely set up to block unknown callers. Check your phone settings and try again.

·5 months ago1. When you post here, you're not addressing eBay. These forums are covered by a very large group of eBayers, both buyers and sellers, who volunteer their time here to help others. We aren't calling you.
2. Unless you've resolved your issue in the meantime, please feel free to return here and tell us about your problem. There are many issues here that can be resolved without actually contacting eBay.

·5 months agoI've never had this problem. Are you sure you're not blocking calls from numbers that aren't in your address book?

·6 months agoMy calls are not coming though?
I have no idea who you are or how to get in touch with you.

·6 months agoMake sure you check the screen where you request the callback. It actually gives you the number (partial) that they will call back at. I know that I have to change mine every single time b/c it's my cell rather than my land line. Be sure it's the number that you need it to be!

·6 months agoThere are many issues on eBay, for both buyers and sellers, that can be resolved without needing to make or receive any phone calls.
If you would like to return here and offer the details of your particular issue, we'd like to try to help you, if we can.
BTW, when you post here, you're not addressing eBay or its employees. The people who "staff" the Boards are mostly fellow eBayers, buyers and sellers, who volunteer their time here to help others if possible.
As I mentioned above, why not just tell us what kind of help you need (and be specific please).
PS: Is this about those two negatives you received when you cancelled orders?

·6 months agoI had the same problem until I figured out calls were being "blocked" from my cellphone. Go to your cellphone setting and "unclick" (block unknown callers).

·6 months agoMy experience is the same. I have never been able to get their calls to come through. About 20 minutes after I request it I get an email from eBay stating that they tried to call but I didn't answer and asking me to check my settings. There is something wrong with the system. You can contact ebay through Facebook and send them a message.

·6 months agoVOIP phone numbers, and numbers outside of North American can be problems for eBay call backs. If you are not using a call blocker, your phone service provider might be. If you cannot provide another number for eBay to call, try contacting eBay via social media direct message.
You may be better off asking your question here to get suggestions from experienced users, though.

·6 months agoDouble check that your contact info is up to date. You probably have an outdated number listed in your contact info.

OP6 months agoI use the same number as always. I even went in a re-added the same number and no luck. I have all spam settings turned off on my phone also. And eBay sends an email stating they tried to call, but you cannot reply to that email letting them know anything. This is horrible customer service.
