This morning I received a message from a buyer in Spain about one of my vintage dance programs.
The original message:
Hola buenas me gustaría saber de este programa que más contienen sus páginas Un saludo
eBay's muddled translation:
Hello good I would like to know from this program which most contain its pages A greeting
What it really said (thank you, Google Translate):
Hello, I'd like to know more about this program and what else its pages contain. Regards
Is this the best that eBay has to offer for its international platform?

·5 months agoLol, that was terrible. Although it isn't much different than a lot of people here typing up questions, and they are using English to start with 🙂

·5 months agoTranslation is not an exact science, Due to many different dialects, However this is a real mess.Someone needs to address this issue.
