eBay cancelled sale but it was already paid for
eBay emailed me that they cancelled a sale for my security and said the seller was no longer registered but this was after payment was made. They said not to ship to buyer or refund without contacting eBay.
The sale is not showing as cancelled and still shows as waiting to ship. I see no way to cancel the sale without refunding the payment which eBay said not to do without contacting them. However, it is apparently impossible to contact eBay to talk with a person.
What should do?

·1 year agoIf a buyer is suspended for ANY reason, eBay sends that notification to any seller that has had a recent transaction with that buyer.
They want you to not ship so that eBay won't be on the hook should the transaction go south.
Most people ignore the warning and just ship (presuming they have been paid). I have received these over the years, always shipped (sometimes the order is already shipped) and never had any type of issue whatsoever.
You are still eligible for Seller Protection and if the buyer is actually suspended they cannot open an eBay Money Back Guarantee claim.
In some cases sellers get this notice for an order that has been paid, shipped, received by buyer and feedback has been left.

·1 year agoJust sit on it. In most cases like that eBay will handle any " loose ends " with the payment.
